Custom
Embroidery

The premium look that sets embroidery apart. Embroidery gives logos, names, and designs a raised, textured, professional finish, stitched directly into the fabric and built to last for years.

Custom embroidery work at IQ Ink Chicopee

Stitched in.
Stands out.

Embroidery uses high-quality threads, hundreds of individual stitches, worked directly into the fabric. The result is a three-dimensional, textured finish that looks and feels premium. Pull it out of the wash 100 times and it still looks sharp.

It's the decoration method of choice for corporate uniforms, polos, hats, and anywhere you want your brand to say "we take quality seriously." IQ Ink has been running commercial embroidery machines in Chicopee since 2015, and our machines are right here in the shop so we can oversee every order personally.

Unlike screen printing, there's no minimum order for embroidery. Whether you need one custom hat or a hundred staff jackets, we can handle it.

Embroidery FAQ

Is there a minimum order for embroidery?
No minimum at all, which is one of the great things about embroidery. Whether you need a single custom hat or 200 employee uniforms, we can do it. Larger quantities typically have a lower per-piece cost, but there's no quantity floor to get started.
What kinds of designs work best for embroidery?
Logos, text, and simple graphic shapes embroider beautifully. Very fine details, gradients, or photo-realistic images can be tricky because embroidery is made up of individual thread stitches. Bring us your artwork and we'll tell you honestly what will look great stitched out.
What is a "digitizing fee" and do you charge one?
Before embroidering your design, it needs to be converted into a digital stitch file (called "digitizing"). Some shops charge a separate fee for this. Come talk to us and we'll give you a clear, all-in quote so there are no surprises.
How large can my embroidered design be?
Most embroidered logos are in the 3–5 inch range for left-chest placement. Larger designs are possible on the back of garments or on bags. Hat embroidery typically fits within a 2–3 inch width. We can advise on what size works best for your specific item.
Can I bring in my own garments to embroider?
Yes, we can embroider on items you supply. Just bring them in and we'll take a look. We want to make sure the garment will hold embroidery well before we commit to it. We also carry a wide range of quality blanks in our showroom if you'd prefer to source through us.
How durable is embroidery compared to printing?
Embroidery is extremely durable, often outlasting the garment itself. Since the design is stitched into the fabric rather than printed on top, it won't peel, crack, or fade the way prints can. It's why embroidery is the standard for work uniforms and professional wear.
